Bloomberg: Aereo, the Barry Diller-backed startup whose online-video service ran afoul of U.S. copyright law, may still play a part in revolutionizing how TV is watched, if only as a carcass for established tech giants to pick over. The company is putting intellectual property and hardware up for sale at a bankruptcy auction to pay creditors. The assets could play a strategic role for a new owner.
