Wall Street Journal: Nearly a year ago, CNN launched Digital Studios, an initiative centered around producing more original content for the web. The company’s video views have jumped 48% over the past year, exceeding 200 million in January, according to comScore, putting CNN in striking distance of category leaders Huffington Post (354 million views in January) and Yahoo/ABC News (299 million). This month, CNN will roll out three new digital-first documentary series.
