BuzzFeed Replaces European Head with AOL UK Veteran

Financial Times: BuzzFeed has abruptly replaced the head of its European operations, saying that the move will help accelerate its growth in advertising revenues. Will Hayward, who joined BuzzFeed from Dow Jones in September 2013, left the company last week. His will be replaced by Kate Burns, a former chief executive of AOL’s UK operations as it developed the international presence of Huffington Post, now a major competitor.
