Financial Times: Vivendi CEO Arnaud de Puyfontaine has scotched reports that the French media group could sell its music business, saying any disposal would be over his “dead body.” The New York Post reported this month that John Malone had offered to buy Universal Music, the world’s largest record label by revenues, through his Liberty Media group. But de Puyfontaine told an Enders conference in London that music was “at the heart of our strategy.”
