Lionsgate’s ‘Insurgent’ Ties ‘Divergent’ at Box Office

Forbes.com: “The Divergent Series: Insurgent” topped the weekend box office with $54.025 million, compared to the $54.6 million debut for “Divergent” a year ago. It has also earned $101 million worldwide. The film is the second of four planned “Divergent” films, based on the young-adult novel series by Veronica Roth. “The bad news is that the fan base didn’t expand. The good news is that it didn’t lose much either.”
