VideoInk: It’s no secret that Funny or Die has been on the chopping block for a while, seeking a sale despite its ties with Turner Broadcasting. A source close to the company said that there have been a few hiccups getting deals done over the last few months since Funny or Die was first rumored to be for sale. And now, a deal is said to be close and will likely be done any day now, for roughly $198 million, with Viacom-owned MTV.
