Politico to Rebrand Capital New York Amid Expansion

Politico: As part of its expansion into states, Politico will rebrand Capital New York under its own name and launch similar publications in New Jersey and Florida. Politico New York, Politico New Jersey and Politico Florida will offer political and policy coverage in their respective markets. Building off the success of Mike Allen’s morning tipsheet, Politico Playbook and Marc Caputo’s Florida Playbook, Politico will also launch Playbook tipsheets in New Jersey, California, Illinois and Massachusetts, and host Playbook events.
