Talking New Media: Time Inc. UK recently conducted a study with in conjunction with the research agency Hope + Anchor to “understand people’s needs, wants and expectations from technology and also to understand what people do on their tech purchase journey,” the magazine publisher said. The study involved more than 1,000 adults. Among the results: Eight in 10 consumers are interested in buying a smart tech product for the home but the purchase journey can take up to three months.
