New York Times: AOL and NBCUniversal will share content and develop programming together as part of a licensing and distribution agreement that the two companies announced. The partnership will give AOL access to NBCUniversal’s portfolio of broadcast networks, cable channels and digital networks. With the agreement, consumers would, for example, be able to watch clips of NBC’s “The Blacklist,” on AOL’s video website. “We’re trying to break down the silos between linear and digital.”
