Los Angeles Times: DreamWorks Animation’s losses widened in the first quarter amid layoffs and other restructuring charges, but the studio’s prospects have brightened considerably with the success of its latest movie, “Home.” That was the message CEO Jeffrey Katzenberg delivered to Wall Street. “While 2015 is a transitional year for us, the worldwide box-office performance of ‘Home’ serves as early evidence that the changes we’re making in the core feature animation business are working.”
