Politico: Rob Saliterman, one of Google’s most visible D.C. hands, is jumping to Snapchat to head a new political ad sales unit. Saliterman is moving to Manhattan, where he will work alongside Snapchat’s other big D.C. catch, CNN’s Peter Hamby. The two have very different roles: Peter is “news,” and Rob will be selling. But the pair of hires shows that Snapchat, with a premium product and a premium audience (first-time voters), is reaching out to the political community earlier than any other tech company in history.
