Atlanta Business Journal: Cox Communications is claiming that AT&T’s U-Verse service is wrongfully using its technology. In a lawsuit filed in federal court in Atlanta, Cox, the country’s third-largest cable company, said AT&T’s U-Verse is infringing on three of the company’s patents. U-Verse is a high speed broadband, video and voice service. AT&T has been focusing on expanding U-Verse, which as of the end of 2014 had 12.5 million total subscribers, including 12.2 million Internet and 5.9 million video subscribers.
