Cincinnati Enquirer: Carolyn Washburn has left the Cincinnati Enquirer as editor and VP. Michael McCarter, who joined the Enquirer in 2007 and leads the organization’s multimedia and visuals team, will serve as interim editor. “I thank Carolyn for her tremendous years of service to our readers and company,” said Rick Green, Enquirer Media’s president and publisher. “I wish her the best in her next pursuits.” Green, on the job as the Enquirer’s local CEO for 10 weeks, said he will “thoughtfully, but swiftly” find a top editor with impeccable journalism standards and experience.
