Wenner’s Rolling Stone Hires ESPNer as Video Head

Variety: Rolling Stone plans to dramatically beef up its video offerings with the hiring of Josh Swade as exec producer of film and video. Swade, who starts at the magazine May 26, most recently was senior producer at MaggieVision Productions. In that role, Swade served as a producer on ESPN’s “The ESPYs” and “NFL Honors” awards shows; he also directed and produced films in ESPN’s “30 for 30″ series.
