USA Today: President Obama has only held his own Twitter account for roughly two days, yet it’s already set a world record. According to Guinness World Records, Obama’s @POTUS account became the fastest to reach 1 million followers, hitting the milestone in under five hours. Obama beat actor Robert Downey Jr., who joined Twitter last year and amassed 1 million followers in just under 24 hours.
