New York Post: “Today” correspondent Jenna Bush Hager is said to be in the running for a new NBCUniversal daytime talk show in development that could eventually replace “The Meredith Vieira Show.” The Bush daughter is one of several people testing for a panel-style chat program to replace “Vieira,” which has seen soft ratings since its launch last season. Hager, who is pregnant with her second child, is well-liked among NBC execs, having grown into her role as a contributing correspondent for “Today.” Since joining the show in 2009, she has filled in regularly for various co-anchors.
