New York Post: Time Inc. plans to more than double the size of its workforce in India to upward of 1,000 employees by the end of 2016, according to CFO Jeff Bairstow. That would make Bangalore, India, the third-largest concentration of Time Inc. employees behind the headquarters in New York and London, where Time Inc. UK, formerly known as IPC Media, is based. The plans to ramp up the size of its Indian workforce so dramatically is causing consternation back at Time’s Midtown headquarters as the company prepares its big move to lower Manhattan.
