New York Post: Vanity Fair celebrated a century of publishing in 2013, but boss Graydon Carter doesn’t want his modern staffers to be too old-fashioned. Visitors to the magazine’s offices have noticed a new mission statement has appeared — namely, a gigantic phrase painted in serif font onto an expansive wall near Graydon’s office, reading, ‘Think Like a Startup.’” According to a source: “It was originally taped up on printer paper, but Graydon decided to make it permanent. The idea is to motivate people … get them to think nimbly and aggressively.”
