Netflix Hits Spain in October Amid Global Expansion

El Mundo: Netflix is said to be launching in Spain in October. The content offered by the Spanish version of the video streaming service is expected to be much smaller than the U.S. edition. Most notably, it will not include Netflix’s two flagship series “House of Cards” and “Oranges is the New Black,” thanks to rights issues with Canal Plus. Netflix in Spain will cost about 8 euros per month, as in neighboring countries.
