Mashable: Josh Greenberg, cofounder of the controversial and recently shuttered music streaming service Grooveshark, was found dead in his Florida home on Sunday. He was 28 years old. There was no evidence of foul play or suicide, according to local police. Greenberg founded Grooveshark in 2006 with Sam Tarantino when the pair were just 19 and students at the University of Florida. The service emerged as the music industry transitioned from rampant illegal downloading to legal streaming. But Grooveshark’s team struggled to win approval from major labels.
