Los Angeles Times: Hulu wants more drama up its sleeve — and the company has tapped SundanceTV’s Jordan Helman to help strengthen its offerings. Helman, who helped launch Sundance’s Los Angeles-based scripted operations in 2012, will oversee drama development and production. He will report to Hulu’s head of originals Beatrice Springborn. While serving as VP of scripted programming at SundanceTV, Helman worked on such projects as “The Honourable Woman” and “Rectify.”
