New York Post: As if things were not chaotic enough in the publishing world of late, Conde Nast CEO Charles Townsend has survived a bout of arsenic poisoning. In a scene right out of the 1944 Frank Capra dark comedy classic, “Arsenic and Old Lace,” Townsend confirmed the ailment. When Townsend was texted to see if he suspected someone was trying to poison him or if it was just something he ate, he replied: “Shellfish.”
