Wall Street Journal: The days of it being all business at Business Insider are over. The eight-year-old digital business news site is expanding its horizons, launching Tech Insider as a standalone site with plans to create a separate general news site later this year. Business Insider is expanding with help from the $25 million investment it received earlier this year from a group led by Axel Springer. The company will launch its tech site with a staff of 40 people who will work primarily from the company’s New York headquarters, but separately from the main Business Insider newsroom.
