Capital New York: The dean of Columbia University’s Graduate School of Journalism is joining Gannett’s board of directors, the company announced. Stephen Coll, who is also a contributor to The New Yorker, will serve on the board effective immediately. “The Company is pleased to have someone who shares our passion for journalism join the Board of Gannett,” said Gannett CEO Robert Dickey in a statement.
