Barron’s: “Industry bias towards size should encourage continued consolidation within content,” according to Brett Harriss, an analyst with Gabelli & Co. “Following 21st Century Fox’s $85 per share bid for Time Warner [withdrawn in August 2014], we have seen no major consolidation … yet. We believe Lions Gate Entertainment, Starz, AMC Networks, Viacom, CBS, and Discovery Communications could all be potential participants in another round of media consolidation.”
