Talking New Media: The Reader’s Digest Association has unveiled two e-learning websites – one involving home cooking, the other home repair – each powered by Thought Industries, a Boston company that works with third parties to create e-learning brands. “Publishing organizations lend themselves extremely well to the operation of an online learning business. Why? Because much of the integral pieces of a successful online learning business are already in place.” Thought Industries is powering Rodale’s online learning brand, Rodale U, launched earlier this year.
