Fox’s Lachlan Murdoch ‘Smashes’ His Ankle in LA

Courier-Mail: Lachlan Murdoch said that not even a “smashed ankle” was going to keep him from his duties as keynote speaker at the Ray White Group’s annual real-estate conference on the Gold Coast of Australia. Murdoch said he had too much respect for the group not to attend, despite a bone-crushing rock climbing incident in Los Angeles. “When I smashed my ankle last week, and despite a doctor in L.A. telling me I absolutely should not fly with my broken appendage looking more like a football than a foot, nothing was going to keep me away out of respect for Brian and his family,” Murdoch told the 2,000 delegates at the event.
