Politico: Metro US editor in chief Aleksander Korab is leaving the company. Metro publisher Yggers Mortensen announced Korab’s departure in a staff memo. “I wanted to let you know personally about a change at Metro. After 15 years with Metro, Aleksander Korab is leaving the company.” Korab was named editor in chief of Metro US — a division of Metro International that owns free tabloids in New York, Boston and Philadelphia — in May of last year. He replaced Dorothy Robinson, a veteran Metro editor who was promoted to editor in chief in January 2014, only to be ousted four months later.
