Financial Times: WPP has played down the risk that it will lose business as a result of the $20 billion“tsunami” of advertising spending reviews that are taking place at many of the world’s biggest brands, and remains bullish on China despite the recent market turmoil. A flurry of large marketers including carmaker Volkswagen and Mondelez, the food group, this year launched reviews of which media agencies they should employ to plan and buy advertising space on their behalf.
