MediaPost: Newly released data forecasts that Google will get $2 of every $5 marketers spend this year on digital advertising in the United States. By 2017, Google’s U.S. net digital ad revenue share will rise to 13.1%, up from 12.7% this year. Facebook’s share will rise to 5.9% from 4.2%, respectively. Microsoft also will gain slightly — reaching 1.6%, up from 1.4%, respectively. eMarketer’s forecast estimates Yahoo will lose share, dropping to 1.3% in 2017, from 1.4% this year.
