Wall Street Journal: Last March, a clip from “Jimmy Kimmel Live” featuring President Obama reading mean tweets about himself hit YouTube. The video went viral and amassed close to 30 million views, but ABC, which airs the late-night show, never made a penny off the clip. That’s because videos from the show on the Google-owned platform didn’t include any advertising – something that’s about to change. Soon, clips from Kimmel’s late-night show will start carrying pre-roll video ads.
