Fortune: Laurence “Lo” Toney has joined Google Ventures as a partner. Toney previously spent just over a year helping to lead the Catalyst Fund, a Comcast Ventures affiliate that invests in seed-stage companies led by entrepreneurs of color. Prior to Catalyst, Toney was CEO of education startup LearnStreet and held product positions with Zynga, Nike and eBay.
