Bloomberg: Netflix is said to be in talks with Disney for rights to stream five “Star Wars” movies in Latin America. The talks involve all but one of the six blockbuster “Star Wars” pictures made by Lucasfilm. Rights to the original 1977 picture are owned by 21st Century Fox. Disney will release the seventh film in the franchise, “The Force Awakens,” on Dec. 18. With Netflix, Disney can re-introduce the world of Jedis and stormtroopers to viewers in Latin America, where Netflix has said it has more than 5 million subscribers.
