Daily News: On his first day of work at MSNBC, Brian Williams can sleep late. The former high-flying anchor of “Nightly News” will begin his new life as a cable news anchor at 3 p.m. Tuesday. He plans to anchor coverage of the Pope’s visit to the U.S., but his official capacity afterward will be to handle “breaking news.” Williams will be working out of several studios at MSNBC’s 30 Rockefeller Center headquarters, including a “phone booth” sized room that was recently constructed.
