New York Post: Time Inc. has named Irene Edwards, the former top editor at Lonny, the critically acclaimed digital shelter magazine, to be the new editor-in-chief of Sunset. Edwards replaces Peggy Northrop, who served about 2 ¹/₂ years. Sources said Northrop ran afoul of the top brass because she was also working on her own tech site, Shebooks.com. Edwards said of her new gig, “It’s a homecoming for me. I was here for four years [as executive editor] when Katie Tamony, my friend and editor was editor.”
