Wall Street Journal: Dermot McCormack, who was named president of AOL’s video operations last October, will soon leave the company. McCormack, who joined AOL last fall after a six year stint at Viacom, had overseen AOL Studios, the company’s division focused on original content, as well as AOL On, a video syndication business. Since he was hired, AOL has gradually decentralized its video operations, said CEO Tim Armstrong.
