Advertising Age: In a tribute to the late, great Yogi Berra (R.I.P.), let’s just say that it was déjà vu all over again for the Big Four broadcast networks, as sampling on the second night of the new TV season appears to have been about as underwhelming as the first. Every returning Tuesday night drama suffered double-digit ratings declines, while the three new series were a mixed bag. But the most disconcerting data concerns younger viewers, who are ditching traditional TV faster than anyone could have anticipated.
