Albany Business Review: The Times Union is again offering voluntary buyouts in an attempt to cut costs at the largest daily newspaper in the Albany, N.Y., region. The buyout offer is available to all members of the newspaper’s union and exempt employees, such as those in advertising and other departments. Employees taking the buyout will receive two weeks pay for every year of service, with a minimum of 15 weeks and maximum of 52 weeks. Publisher George Hearst wasn’t available for comment.
