USA Today: Netflix has created the Netflix Switch, a smart home button that — once pressed — will dim your lights and fire up the streaming media app for immediate viewing. Netflix provided the tools on how to make your own smart home button. The basic functions dim lights and start the app, but with some extra effort, the Switch can be programmed to work with a third-party food ordering app as well as apps that silence your smartphones. The only drawback here is you can’t buy the finished device. Instead, Netflix offers instructions on how to create your own.
