DSL Reports: Charter has quietly launched a skinny bundle of basic TV channels in an attempt to keep users from cutting the cord. Charter’s new “Spectrum TV Stream” service costs $13 a month, and includes a free Roku 3 player, access to the four major broadcast channels (ABC, CBS, Fox and NBC), and the option to add Showtime or HBO. For another $7, users can add another 16 channels, including A&E, ESPN, Hallmark, Lifetime, Freedom, Food Network, HGTV, AMC, FX, History, H2, TBS, National Geographic, Discovery and TLC.
