New York Post: Vice Media is getting another big media backer as it prepares to launch a major TV offensive. Disney is poised to take a small stake in the millennial content producer, which is preparing to launch a Vice-branded cable network in the U.S. and as many as a dozen channels across Europe over the next year and a half. The Mouse House is already invested in Vice — albeit indirectly. Disney, along with Hearst, is co-owner of A&E Networks, which took a 10 percent stake in Vice late last year.
