Washington Post: Politico Magazine editor Garrett Graff is leaving the two-year-old publication to head back to his native state of Vermont, a staff memo announced. Graff, who formerly edited Washingtonian magazine, had a tough task in taking over day-to-day responsibilities at the magazine. The publication is a web-print beast, churning out on-the-spot opinion and analysis pieces for Politico.com while also feeding the bimonthly print vehicle. Of his upcoming plans in Vermont, Graff writes via e-mail, “I’ll have more to say in a couple weeks.”
