Rodale’s Maria Rodale Takes Control at Publisher

Morning Call: Maria Rodale, the third-generation owner of Rodale, is back in control of operations at the publishing company amid the departure of company president Scott Schulman. “Maria has decided to take on a more active role in the day-to-day management of the company and, given her increased involvement, she and Scott mutually agreed not to renew his contract, which expired at the end of October,” said a Rodale spokeswoman.
