News Corp Names New Editor in Chief of Australian

Australian: Chris Mitchell, Australia’s longest serving newspaper editor, has confirmed he will retire on Dec. 11, with Rupert Murdoch paying tribute to his leadership, saying the Australian newspaper “has never been better than it is now.” The move has triggered changes at News Corp. sibling newspapers, with editor of the Daily Telegraph, Paul Whittaker, returning to the Australian as editor-in-chief. Current editor of the Courier-Mail, Chris Dore, will become editor of the Daily Telegraph.
