Huffington Post Agrees to Unionization with WGA East

Deadline: In another organizing win for the WGA East, the Huffington Post has agreed to recognize the union as the collective bargaining representative of its editorial staff. Over the last year the guild has also organized the digital writing staffs at Vice Media, Gawker Media, Salon and the Guardian U.S. “The unionization of the Huffington Post’s editorial staff is another example of our newsroom practicing what we preach.”
