New York Post: An activist investor took aim at ailing media mogul Sumner Redstone on Tuesday, calling for him to resign as chairman of Viacom. Eric Jackson of SpringOwl Asset Management said the New York media giant has “chronically underperformed” rivals and is in desperate need of new leadership. He called on the 92-year-old Redstone to step down as executive chairman, along with CEO Philippe Dauman and COO Tom Dooley.
