NBCUniversal to Launch Reality-TV Streaming Service

Guardian: Reality-TV junkies rejoice. NBCUniversal plans to launch a one-stop TV streaming service that will be the home to hits including “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” and “The Real Housewives” franchise. The new subscription service, called Hayu, will launch in the U.K., Ireland and Australia next month, priced at £3.99 a month. NBCU found that lots of its hit shows were watched illegally by fans outside the U.S.
