Cablevision Lets Cable Customers Live Stream CBS

The Verge: Cablevision and CBS have announced a deal that lets the cable company’s subscribers watch a live stream of CBS both in and out of the home. Under traditional TV Everywhere deals, customers are only permitted to view live programming when on a home Wi-Fi network. But this pact changes that — so long as customers are streaming from a market where CBS itself owns and operates the local CBS channel.
