SoundCloud Names NBCU Veteran as Revenue Officer

Variety: SoundCloud just hired an entertainment industry veteran to help it make more money: Former HBO and NBCUniversal executive Alison Moore is now the company’s chief revenue officer. One of Moore’s biggest tasks will be the launch of a subscription service this year. SoundCloud has been planning for some time to take on Spotify and other music subscription services with a paid service of its own.
