Cox Cuts Nearly 30 Jobs as Newspapers Share Services

Dayton Business Journal: Cox Media Group is eliminating 27 jobs, most of them in Dayton, Ohio, as it contracts with another media company for copy editing and design. The company’s shared services division announced it would contract with a number of vendors, including Gatehouse Media, which recently purchased the Columbus Dispatch, for some copy editing and design functions.
